Bangalore has been accredited with various titles and attributes over years..! Bangalore was founded by Kempegowda in 1537..( now u know why majestic bus stop is named kempegowda bus stop)..! It is the fastest growing city in India currently,thanks to the educational and IT boom..!

Bengaluru boasts abt many acclaimed Educational Institutions ( in many fields like medicine,engineering,management etc) and has a magnetic power to draw many IT engineers(lets call them geeks or techies).. thanks to the IT boom !!

When i first landed on the shores of Bangalore ( not in literal SHORE sense) i was apalled to see the cultural mix in my college.! I felt like iam seeing the world finally..!! i found out abt new castes and communities of ppl and to learn their attributes (helps u in a long long way lol..)

The point iam trying to put across is the fact that we find a wide variety of communities prevailing in bangalore..example: coorgis,malayalis,tamilians,marwaris,gujaratis,bihari etc. It is truly a Cosmopolitan culture..!!

College and their Students: there exists a healthy rivalry between colleges ( iam speakign abt undergraduate colleges). each tries to outdo other in various intercollegiate fests held.! the famous colleges being Christ,St.Josephs,Mount Carmel College,Jain college ,Jyoti Nivas college..!

Students are bigger item numbers than their respective colleges.. always found in brigades,forum and al theatres possible..! their Fav words being F***,Shit,wht da? wht Ra? etc..!

the dressing sense is very casual wherein guys loaf around in just a t shirt and jeans and girls in t shirt.jeans and a cardigan..!! a bag is a must for these kids..and girls are partial to rockstars chappals.!!

Weather: the weather in bangalore is 24/7 happenign !! i mean to say it is very pleasant and romantic..!! morning are chilly and nights cool..!! hai....!! u feel lost in this dreamy place..! ahem! it can also rain without warnign! in short.. Bangalore Weather = Eccentric !!

Brigade Road and Mg rd! these roads shd be rechristened as Loafer streets..! we find guys (also uncles) just standing and mouth looking(ogling) at girls... and girls parading down the street wth their girlfrds..! shopping is cheap and bargainable.! it has an array of stuff to pick from.. from branded till non branded stuff..! depending on ur pocket status !

Brigade Road is very congested owing to the heavy traffic and the pedestrian traffic..! u find loads of foreigners ( @ times getting duped by unscruplous dudes).. MG road is almost the same like brigades but little bigger.! MG barista is the most happening place on that street !!

Traffic... eesh.. this is a negative image which is potrayed by the city i.e. their is no proper traffic regulation and roads are christened one way overnights..! this poses a lot of prblems for travellers..!! long jams are equally apalling !! moreover the roads in bang are Mashallah !! i think the MOON has lesser craters than our roads!! lolz..

Pubs ! aptly titled pub capital of india!! u find booze and pubs at every nook and corner of the city.! minimum 10 places on brigades and mg itself..!! we find only rock music predominating the pub scene in the city..!! however,the new deadline of 11 30 Pm has seriously scrwed up the night life..and has ensured anger among the partying crowd..!!!
Parks: Lalbagh and cubbon park are the 2 most famous(also infamous) parks in bangalore.
more than kids and joggers u find romantic couples here..!! u see various degrees of indecent behaviour here..!! a treat for voyeurs...!!
CCD: bengaluru is the birth place of the most popular chain of coffee shops CAFE COFFEE DAY ! this is THE place to hang out,hold informal meetings etc..!! u find one in every nook and corner of the city !!
Restaurants: a wide assortment of food in terms of affordability , cuisines,ambience etc is offered in bang !! one thing is for sure.!! no man goes hungry here.!! darshinis (small south indian joints) are found in abundance..! however north indians find it very very difficult to adjust in bang due to the fact that the staple diet in bang is RICE. one warning to such ppl ( my personal view) STOP complaining abt bang food 24/7 !
Commercial Street: the mecca of shoppaholics in bang!! u can bargain easily here.! however chappal variety is YUCK here.!! i think Delhi's lajpat nagar is 1000 times better!
Kanakapura rd: it a black mark on bang! i dunno wht made IBS to situate itself here.. total industrial area.. no security for girls, no place to eat !! yuckkk!!!
Autorickshawallahs!! they r supposed to b a boon but turned out to be a bane..! their demands and tantrums go sky high when a little drizzle occurs and when the clock hits 8 Pm.! disgusting to the core..and if u dnt heed to their demands and manage to get a seat in auto . be prepared for a longer route..
the auto rates can seriously burn a hole in ur pocket ( esp if ur a student ASK ME )! u know we shd ask them where they wanna go and then hire it !! they r impossible!
Bmtc buses: the most cost effective and economical way to travel... only thing u will need to battle is men (esp uncles ) leaching and Huge aunties with their massive behinds..!!

Alcohol.....Som ras..Madira...Liquor...Daru..Sharab... etc..!!!
many names are given to the intoxicating liquid.! this blog is dedicated to ppl who wish to learn more abt this mesmerizing H2O...!!
Alcohol originated centuries ago....! the favoured drink of kings,peasants,clergy etc..!
the various types of liquor currently found are

• Beer.. it is of 2 types.. lager and ale. ! this makes ur tummy swell. example: Kingfisher
• Wines... The high society drink..! it is good for health,made of grapes and comes in 2 types,white wine and red wine... red wine goes well with meat
• Whisky...it also includes SCOTCH which is a highly refined form of whisky.. scotch are aged for 12-18 years to give a smooth taste..! example.. johnnie walker labels,glen drummond,blenders pride etc.
• Vodka... it is made out of grains and is pure white in colour.. this is fast emerging as a most preferred drink.! it is distilled in nature..! many brands offer exciting flavours as well. the origin of vodka can be traced back to Russia.. example: Smirnoff,romanov,absolut
• Rum.. it is also suggested as a cure to common cold and cough.! we find many varieties within it.. it is usually brown in colour but we also find white rum..! example.. Bacardi,old monk
• Gin.. usually considered as a lady's drink. example: blue riband
• Tequila .. The most popular drink in the party circuit. these are taken as shots with lime and salt.! example... jose cuervo

i have covered the most popular drink varieties here.. drinks like white rum,gin,whiskey gel well with a cola based softdrink..where as vodka gels well with a lime based softdrink.!

The legal age to drink is different in DIfferent countries.. in INDIA we have the legal age @ 21 years..!

A normal standard of a drink is 30 ml.. however one peg usually refers to 60 ml..!

the above mentioned drinks are mixed and matched with soft drinks and juices to create Cocktails! A concoction containign no alcohol is called a mocktail...!!

Ppl.. never mix ur hard drinks..! if u start with vodka.. then stick to it. dont try to have bacardi next. this is becoz it screws up ur nerve control system and hits u hard i mean u get REAL HIGH !

The Traffic Control Authorities keep reminding ppl not to drink and drive because it makes us loose of sense of reasoning for some time..! we tend to swing,scream,holler,have blurred vision etc depending to different ppl's metabolism..!!

Never drink on an empty stomach !!

it is said that Drinking makes u loosen up..!! yes it really does..! it will make u either speak the truth,abuse,fight,laugh,hit rock bottom depression etc among other things..!!

the botttom line is Alcohol affects different ppl in different styles..!!

However it isnt advisable to drink just because of peer pressure and if u want to be an escapist.! it works well as a social drink..!

HOSTEL........!!!

hello ppl... iam back..! firstly i wanna thank all my frds who read and reviewed my blogs!

Hostel..., "home away from home" !

this is true in some cases and not so true in some cases.!! hostel life is an adventure in itself.... the fun of gossiping/bitching, knockin for some help,breaking rules,midnight birthday parties etc have a charm in itself..!! Hostel life makes u independent, bold, shapes ur personality,helps ur interpersonal skills etc .. however it is entirely ur prerogative how u perceive this life!

i personally love the gossiping and rule breaking part..!!

my life in mcc hostel:

i stole electricity from the plugpoints ( we were denied electricity but had plugs in rooms) and used it to the max the whole year ! i cant express the pleasure on my parents face when they heard it.. they were extremely proud of me !!

next i stole the terrace key from d warden s room and sneaked up @ 1 am along with maggi chips and coffee..! 3 friends..coffee mugs..kurkure..and cool wind..!! awesome pleasure!!

bunking hostel and partying gave me all time high ! thanks to my lovely seniors who gave me a roof over ma head for the night..!

now lets discuss IBSB girls hostel.....!!

We got a major shock (i could manage , others were lost) of our life when we stepped into this hostel... the rooms were like matchboxes..! barely there! imagine 2 ppl fitting in the tiny room..! no space for stuff and urself.! hey bhagwan !!

next shock.....!! partial walls... i have never come across such a concept in my life!! but the positive side being it ensured wireless communication thru the floor in a cost effective manner.not only the college but also the hostel proved that itz gonna be home for management students...!!

how to invade of privacy should be learnt by the authorities of my goddamn college..

itz like kahaani ghar ghar ki wherein i get to know whtz happenign in the other rooms. it keeps us up to date abt the college gossip, personal gossip, the budding romance between ppl and also teaches us how to talk to ur boyfriends... lolz..
the clock ticks 9 30 PM and we see a ramp walk of all bfs and their delicate darlings near the hostel.. some walk and some ride..! NO prizes for guessing whtz ticking in their minds when deadline approaches.. one extra minute is all wht their want !! but raghu anna's whistle shooes them away !!
it must be just 10 30--11 and we again find these babes occupying their fixed positions on the staircase..they keep on chit chatting till wee hours of morning unaware of who crosses them and who dont !! some of them whisper in their sweetest of their tones,some nag, some shout and some fight..! yet they manage to make in on time to the 8 o clock class...!! phew... some STAMINA!!! GR8 GOING...!!
now the LOOS and bathrooms of our hostels..
girls need to be given a crash course on the loo manners.. !! they dirty the entire area( no dirty details given) forgetting the fact that there is a whole bunch waiting to do the DEW !! lol
someone actually squats on the western commode and leaves footmarks..! just wanna know that babe and ask her WHY? and HOW?
girls should be more hygienically inclined and well maintained..but this proves wrong in this hostel...
roomates...(or roomies) .. well i thank kavita madam for hooking me upw ith megha.. touch wood.. she is understanding and caring..! when we see other roomies bickering and not gettign along we will we r blessed.. having a good roomy is essential because it gives u a mental peace after a traumatic day in college..some one is there to talk to,share ur grievances etc.. but we just find warring roomies in ibsb ( exceptions are there) many shift their rooms,ignore/torture their roomies etc.. my advise is swalpa adjust maadi should be ur motto..! after all u need to live amiably
Food..!! my servants eat better food than we get in the canteen..! but majburi ka naam gandhi !!
they have a monopoly here and love to exploit us @ every given chance...!! unfair !!
the staff in the canteen should be given soft skils classes and asked to behave in a decent fashion... iw ish i could burn that damn place!!
now the positive points !!
kavita madam.... a very good warden... sweet natured and caring woman...!! i know some ppl may not accept this..but i would say gals, it aint easy handling 150+ girls..!!
Cleaning.... itz a relief not to clean my room and a blessign to get a maid do the same..!
staff... very friendly staff.....

i think this is enough now.. i thank megha for helping me with this blog..

What a woman wants....!!!

The million dollar $..!! the holy grail of guys..! the secret... etc...
call it by any title of sorts yet it is the intriguing mystery to all... here is an humble attempt to answer d same..!
now women are considered to be unpredictable,moody,complex,intriguing,mysterious etc..
let me tell u something.. we adapt to the situations aptly and we r not that complex to understand.! gguys take us for granted and complicate things.. they fail to understand that we have emotional needs and are not only meant for making babies,washing,cooking and warming ur bed...! here r some pointers which will help u understand us little better.!

• Be loving and caring.... praise us for some small effort made by us ,love and cherish us
• dont be overcritical for every goddamn thing
• be romantic once in a while (for some losers)
• a girl likes a GUY as in a macho guy not a metrosexual hermaphrodite.! i mean why do guys shave and wax and thread their eyebrowS?? only difference is u dont have periods (also mood swings lol ) and u dnt bear children
• call her and talk to her.. let her know u will b there for her
• dont break her heart
• be loyal to ur partner.. if u r in a external relationship talk it out decently and end it amiably. dont be cheap and rude!
• a long drive and romantic talk turns a girl on...
• in bed.. be giving and not only demanding.. if ur gf/wife isnt in the mood for sex leave her alone that night.. dont demand it ! as u wont enjoy it.. i suggest u rather SHAG !lolz..
• respect a strong headed independent girl and her viewpoint.
• let a girl spread her wings
• gift chocolates and red roses..
• as for wedding, a diamond ring works wonders !!
• help in daily chores
• comfort her during her PMS

i think for the moment this should be it...!! hope it helps u little bit for understanding us !!

lastly would say dont treat girls as though they r unimportant ! they r a beautifl part of life... cherish,respect and love them....

Love , Life and Sex...

Love is supposed to be a beautiful feeling... iam sure it must b! but the question is does it hold true in today's scenario..
we as bachelors and spinsters love maggi noodles for its instant cook factor (as max stay outside home) and hence we look for the same in our love life..
i love u !! the most over abused words in today's time.! bangalore culture is literally going to dogs.. everyone has min 2 bfs (iam currently single lol) .. i guess this is true even in IBSB. many girls and also guys claim to have steady relationships back home yet, they sniff aound like bitches in heat in the campus.. i see a new love story developing every day !
where is ur so called committment level now?
my personal opinion is that flirt and date as much as u can sustain and cope with.. but then dont blemish the term "committment"..! it is a strong term to be used only when u know abt ur future together..
i personally keep updating my bf's list since i believe total committment is only after marriage!

love is companionship for me... the beautiful feeling of belonging to someone and someone belonging to u.. where u hang out together physically,emotionally and mentally..
the best scene can be... rainy weather.. loved one..balcony...coffee and a quilt...! oh jesus!! it sounds sweet...!!
now comin to life.... life is a dynamically beautifully gift given to us by GOD... how we lead is upto us.. i dont beleive in philosophies (which have no head or tail) .. so i would say

the temples of khajuraho bear testimony to the same...!! then my question is why is it so degraded in recent times?? the advent of movies and the cheap body show has screwed up ppl's perception! women are just thought of as a bundle of gr8 tits and ass..where has the respect gone? why do guys care if we wear padded brassieres of not??

Sex is a personal issue and shd be respected..asking questions like r u a virgin? shows cheapness of mind.. none of ur fucking concern if a guy/gal has screwed many times or not!

now.. premarital sex is the lastest issue.. i believe it is ok till d time u r comfortable with the guy and have no regrets later on..!!

good morning people..
iam back again after a good night's sleep..
the best part of my collge is that it has taught me how to get ready in 10 min lol... i am forever struggling to get up in mornign and attend d damn classses @ 8..! either i make it or i chuck it. alas! i have chucked so much that iam in attendance shortage list..
now,iam experiencing a peculiar problem, whenever i come to class on time (in morning) the lecturer comes late and when iam 5 minutes late ,it seems that he/she has been taking classes since eternity.! totally unfair..!!
we have one sir named ASHISH DASH , who is extremely funny.. yest he blasted me for being 2 min late (according to normal time) it was due to the fact that the goddamn class watch was 10 min fast..thzt why i say IBSB hai hai....!!
teachers and academic dept are made to suck student blood..!! they have to talk classes no matter wht !! this is not done..!!
our law teacher can talk everything under the sun except solving ur doubts
finance teacher is an item piece.! i am speechless to explain her!

recently i joined IBS bangalore for MBA course and from that ill fated day my life turned topsy turvy !
i was (and still i am) a fun loving,bubbly,happy go lucky gal... who never missed a single movie first day first show..
nowadays i think is it worth going to theatre? do i have attendance? do i have any pending work?
eesh.. jindagi jhaand ho gayi hai....!!
My college is good. thw crowd is avg. ppl here complain abt bang culture. how i wish telling them " dude this isnt an ounce of bang culture which is electric and vibrant"...
i find most of the people pretentious and fake here.. no one is really there for anyone..
does MBA change individuals that drastically??
