I also happened to watch Tiger Zinda Hai recently. It's a movie appears to have been directed for the most of its part by the Action Director. I agree with you that it's stretched. You have presented a concise and to the point assessment of the movie. Personally I feel that its first part - Ek Tha Tiger was better because it dealt with tender feelings with finesse in addition to presenting breathtaking action sequences.
