Binge Watching in the Times of Corona...

My usual sunday routine was to laze around in pyjamas, Netflix, eat, sleep and repeat.. Never anticipated that the world will take a pause and this would turn our lives topsy turvy.  Hence, sunday routine has spilled over to the rest of the week, thanks to the nation wide lockdown.

How to kill time? The most pertinent question in these trying times.  I thought of collating some of the best/semi-best shows/movies i have seen across different OTT (Netflix, Hotstar, Amazon Prime, Voot and Zee5) platforms and do my bit for the people :)

This post is Janhit mein Jaari.

Do write back if you liked the reviewing style/loved the suggested titles.

Netflix

  • Money Heist - A bank robbery is where you would be expecting guns, masks and orders to empty the cashier while holding hostages. But this spanish bank robbery drama is ekdum hatke. Looting the bank isnt the thrill anymore, but printing your own money is ! The mastermind, the Professor, is so good looking and brainy making it impossible not to be in awe of his brilliance. Highly Recommended. Kya pata you will end up changing your name to some place. Start your binge with this.
  • She - A timid lady constable is thrust into a covert police operation to act as an hooker. Her dressed up avatar makes her act sassy and bold, something which she isnt in real life. How she realises her own sexuality in this covert operation makes it a compelling watch. Aditi Pohankar has got the accent, mannerisms and the fire in the eyes absolutely right! Loved the climax scene. Damn. Kaha aur kaise kya kya mil jaata hai :)
  • Self made - Portrays the rise of Madame CJ Walker - The first afro-american millionairess in the 1920's. Her hair growth products were the rage! Octavia Spencer is a fabulous actor.
  • Delhi Crime - The nirbhaya case had rattled the souls of every citizen. Watch, how the delhi police solved this crime efficiently and in time. Dont get too emotional seeing this, unlike me who wanted to beat the living daylights of the criminals. Shefali Shah is a true blue powerhouse of talent.
  • Toy Boy - A male stripper is accused of killing his client's husband. But he is innocent. Who will help him in finding the truth? will the truth ever come out? This show kinda gets little tedious in the middle. could have been shortened and kept crisp. However the MEN provide the girls, purrrfect nain sukh prapti :)
  • Virgin River - Simple story. No thrills.. Watch it as you are watching the time go by. Its about a nurse who shifts to a small village and her challenges there. Loved her chemistry with the bar owner.
  • Addicted - Sex can manifest into more than a physical need. The chemistry with a forbidden person, the lure of  the wilder stuff, the risk of getting caught, the need for  being satisfied etc are various adrenaline pumping reasons to seek out a new adventure. Watch Zoe stray out of her perfect family life . Okay timepass for couple of hours.

  • Lucifer - Lets welcome the king of hell on earth. The devil wants to party crazily but ends up becoming a helping hand to the cute detective cop!
  • Ala Vaikunthapuramaloo -- This telugu movie features Allu arjun, whose dance and action moves can lit your screen up! What will you do when you stumble upon the fact that you are a rich person's son and not a middle class person, exchanged at birth? English subtitles available.
  • Oh Baby! - Motor Mouth granny gets a jolt from her family members and she curses god that she never got a chance to live her youth well and fulfill her singing aspirations. Being in a good mood, God lures her into a photo booth and vanishes 50 years of her life, turning into a 24 year old girl! What happens next? her devotion to her son and her friendship goals with her best buddy is amazing. Watch this for the acting and storyline !! In Telugu, English Subtitles Available.
  • Kingdom - If the Zombies interest you, then hit the play button on this korean royalty drama. Second episode onwards, the story starts sinking in. After the 5th episode. you will be like "Accha more zombies are reproduced, let them chomp their way through".
  • Super Deluxe - Amalgamation of 4 interesting stories in this super hit Tamil Movie. What would you do if your extra marital lover falls dead when he is on top of u? What will you feel when you watch porn with friends and find out that the pornstar is related to u? what makes you believe in anything? English Subtitles Available.
  • Family Tandoncies by Amit Tandon - Such a clean comedy act, which can be enjoyed with the family. No gaali galoch! Highly Recommended!
  • Awe - Collection of stories which culminate into a unexpected psycho ending! Telugu movie, English subtitles available.
  • Uyare - Malayalam movie about an acid attack victim, her dreams and her determination. I think this was better than Ms.Padukone's chhapak. Parvathy's expressions spoke volumes. English Subtitles Available.

Hotstar

  • Out of Love - Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned can be revised as "a woman who doubts and confirms her husband's infidelity".  I loved this show purely for Rasika Duggal's acting. Her eyes smoldered! Beautiful locales, cast and a different storyline. Give this a shot!
  • Special Ops - Stellar starcast in this spy thriller. Kinda predictable after a while, but nonetheless a racy watch. Purely for KK menon's acting.
  • Chappad Phaad ke - Loved this one! A middle class family who take pride in their "sanskars" and a non-corrupt life, come across Rs.5 crore! kya inka imaan dolega? Will they touch the money and fulfill their deepest desires? AMAZING vinay pathak, story and climax! Must watch!
  •  City of Dreams- Political drama featuring a brother-sister duo. Gaddi kiski hogi? Where is the laxman rekha drawn in politics? How far are u ready to destroy yourself and your family. Watch this one.
  • The Hostages - Powerhouse of talent, Ronit Roy and Tisca Chopra are the captor and captive respectively. I had mixed feelings about this one. Why was the Dr held captive? What secrets do her family members have?
  • Chernobyl - 5 series show which portrays the nuclear disaster occured in the 80's. Trust me, this will give you goosebumps and make you pray that nothing of this sort ever ever happens again in the world! MUST WATCH!
  • Hidden Figures - Just watch this! Saying no more.

Voot

Asur - Intriguing murders which churn your intestines out are spread over different coordinates in India. Why does barun sobti gets this info sitting in the US? Who is this crazy killer who spouts pure hindi shabdakosh? His radical ideas are based on hindu mythology.. will the CBI be able to catch him? Waiting for season 2 eagerly !

Amazon Prime

  • Contagion - Its like a decade ago, hollywood writers accurately wrote a story which is our current reality. Surely there is a surge of viewers for this movie. Need i say more?
  • Family Man - Manoj Bajpayee all the way !! If you havent watched this yet, go ahead and stream it ! Thriller series! How does a timid husband/father handle the role of a intelligence officer with aplomb?
  • Mirzapur - Really? should i even write about why this should be watched? Pankaj tripathi, the gaalis and the katta! :) Season 2, kaha ho tum?
  • One mic stand - Shashi Tharoor's episode was the only one outstanding. Dont miss this! His charms coupled with angrezi meets his sarcastic side!
  • The Marvelous Mrs.Maisel - The world is going ga-ga over this show. I just went cuckoo over her looks, the gorgeous dresses she wore and her kick ass confidence as a stand up comedienne. Keep some patience while streaming this.
  • Pushpavalli 1 and 2 - Sumukhi Suresh is the perfect stalker in this series. Bangaloreans will love the kannada accent of her landlady. At the end of the season 2, I was happily cursing pushpavalli for her scheming mind, mindless obsession and stalking.
  • Mahanati - Telugu biopic on the life of Savitri, the leading female superstar of yesteryears. Amazing acting by Keerthi Suresh. The sarees will make you yearn for a similar wardrobe. English subtitles available.
  • Goodachari - Amazing spy thriller from the land of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh. Loved the twists and turns.
  • Helen - What will you do if you get locked overnight in a cold storage room? What happens to your relationships? Super hit Malayalam movie. English subtitles available.
  • Tumbbad - Mythology meets human greed in this story. The cinematography is so amazing that even the rain drops scare the hell out of you. This horror movie has to be on your watch list. Thank me later. So jaao, nahi toh hastar aa jayega :)

Zee 5

  • Final Call - The mysterious disappearance of the MH 370 has spewed a whole lot of conspiracy theories. One of the theories, which says the pilot was suicidal is highlighted in this show. Arjun Rampal plays the role of the pilot who is devastated due to personal reasons and wants to commit suicide to perfection. What happens next? The stories of the co-passengers/air hostesses gives this a human touch. Highly recommended.
  • Mentalhood - Maximum of Alt Balaji shows stream on zee5. Taking this subcription makes better sense. This show is the "comeback" vehicle for karisma kapoor. Wow, how did we ever like her and her nauseating voice? Other ladies were better than her. The apparel worn was classy. The parenting tips shown were alright. Your wish if u wish to see this wishful parenting :)
  • Gandi Baat - Oh boy! If soft porn is your preffered poison, then this provides the required cheap thrill. Lots of heaving bosoms, woman on top and cheap storylines. Sasti tharak assured. Yes, Its an Ekta kapoor production. Avoid the last season like the bubonic plague. Ghatiya mein bhi, maha ghatiya.

Change is the only constant!

Repeated actions done over a period of time, becomes a habit! But, Never say never to CHANGE!

We, Indians love our traditional customs and habits.

My memory fails to identify the exact timeline which imbibed my habits in me. Courtesy my mom and the marwari household, I grew up in!

Few things like, visiting the puja room after getting dressed to convey good morning to the Lord, touching your Elders' feet while saying Jai Shri Krishna, being courteous and humble, doing pranam when someone is going out of station or coming from one, praying to God before sleeping, no wearing black colour during religious pujas and on auspicious days etc; are deeply embedded in my lifestyle.

Practices which are good and help you grow as an grounded individual should always be accepted with open arms.

However, redundant practice like sitting away and eating on a plastic plate during those 5 days of the month "periods" should be removed! Its alright not to visit temples during this time, but taking it far ahead and insisting to eat and sleep separately makes you feel like a social pariah!

During festivals, parents used to make us speak to distant relatives, like my mom's mother's sister or her son, to give them best wishes. Thus ensuring we were more social within our family and extended family, to know our relations and continue them with similar warmth.

In the Gen-Next era, change seems to be constant and consistent. New blood infused with terrific ideas, being more socially connected and aware, having information on their fingerprints, is paving a way for new set of customs and lifestyle change.

The technological advent, with its pros and cons, should empower us to juxtapose old and new traditions.

Upcoming generation, may or may not follow the social practice of staying connected with extended family.

They might replace the jai shri krishna with hello/namaste/whatsup?.

Its possible they eradicate the stigma of the menstrual cycle!

It shall be perfectly okay if they are not overtly religious or display it to the world!

Change which evolves us as better human beings by making us humble yet true to oneself is the need of the hour. It just shouldn't be hurtful and disrespectful to the older generation but taking them along on this voyage!

My personal thoughts are penned here.

Thanks to Indispire topic--  share a thought about a social practice that is/was followed in your generation but you feel will not hold good for the next/current generation?

Whatsapp! 1st task of the day !

"Trrrinnnng Triiinggg" the alarm sounded shrilly in Sheetal's ears. Opening one eye, she fumbled around for her phone and the snooze button. Those 5 minutes of  sleep between the snooze button and the next alarm are blissful.

She woke up groggily and started with the first task of the
Courtesy:Google
day. Checking her phone and its notifications. The lock screen showed snapshots of the messages in text inbox and whatsapp, however she knew better to trust them since plethora of messages are always in the muted conversations.

Her family group was named " Singhs are Kings" whereas her best friends group was "Awesome Threesome", her office group had an uninspired name "Vertical Heads" and various shopping groups had weird attributed names.

She sighed while scrolling down the notifications.

  • 10 "good morning" messages/images from masis/chachis/mamas/grannies/mom etc.
  • "inspirational/motivational" quotes in office group.

  • Tons of images of counterfeit a.ka. first copies of branded handbags and kundan jewellery in the shopping groups.

  • Current bitch session/gossip and dirty talks were on in the besties group.

"Ah, the morning routine! sometimes I think, almost a decade ago, the joy of getting 100 free SMSes from your mobile provider, on a daily basis, was beyond words. We didn't have to worry about the currency balance but simply reserve a quota for forwarding non-veggie messages and remaining to enquire if proxy could be given in a particular's class.

Now, we wake up by beautiful images which wish us a great day, enrich our gyaan, spook us by lengthy "very important for health" messages, sometimes untrue news and many other stuff.

The notifications go up in triple digit numbers, if left unchecked even for half an hour. Courtesy, the many family and friends groups along with the shopping groups membership.

Oh, how I personally love the mute button! Stops the continuous beeping of the incoming message!

But, its also a blessing. Mom always helps me out, when i send her a picture of something i wish to buy. Making a plan with friends is also easy. Transferring data is easy!"

Enough of my incessant musing about whatsapp!! Time to get ready and Carpediem!!!

Newspapers!

It's a morning ritual to read newspapers while drinking hot masala tea!!

Sunday editions are most looked forward to because of additional offbeat articles..

Despite the advent of instant news at your fingertips, you still look forward to it.

The feel of turning pages, inhaling the smell of print and paper and reading local announcements, ads and information is indispensible.

Sometimes, you read the headlines and exclaim "hey I read it online yest!", yet you will devour the article thinking if any extra Info is listed.

Newspaper articles enriches your vocabulary as well. As a matter of fact, any reading will ensure this.

Unfortunately, these days newspapers are more of advertisements. During festive season, you have to swim through 4 huge cover pages of latest sales ads before reaching the front page section.

Well, describing news articles consisting of terrorism and gruesome incidents like rape shall take up the entire blogger space. When you feel you had enough scare of one event, another takes place with more ferocity.  Alas, this is how it is, I suppose.

Page 3 features the latest parties and their party animals. Sometimes i wonder, how difficult it would be for wannabes/constant people to maintain a wardrobe with different styles to attend events regularly.

Its a great medium to reach out to the users who aren't net savvy.

Also helps in promoting the local events/exhibitions/sales to a better effect.

What are the other uses of newspapers?

  • Spread it on your almirah shelf to contain dust.
  • Use it to soak extra oil while trying those bhajis and puris.
  • Wrap your sanitary pads for disposal.
  • Cover your unused items for storage.
  • Spray some Colin liquid on window panes and tables and wipe it off with it.
  • Keep it in between your ironed clothes for starched look.
  • Best of all -- keep collecting newspapers and sell it off to the raddiwala for a good price, after bargaining!

Sunday Ritual - Doordarshan Time..!

In the 90's, growing up was uncomplicated and active!

We had mud on clothes, scratches worn as war  medals, anticipating cousins' visits, waiting for holidays to go to nani-house, calling from the round-dial telephones and much more.

One vivid memory, etched for eternity, is fine tuning the old television set manually to smooth out wrinkles of Doordarshan Channel!

Elders fondly recollect shows like Hum Log, Karamchand, Mungerilal ke haseen sapne, News, Surabhi etc while we have great memories of Shaktimaan, Alif Laila, Ramayana,Shri Krishna etc.

School time discussions centered around shaktimaan and emulating his spinning action. Andhera kayam rahe!

Discussions at home revolved around renuka shahane's hairstyle and signature namaste.

Mythological gyaan was duly enriched by Ramanand sagar's Shri Krishna and Ramayana.
BR Chopra's Mahabharata!

Every 90's kid will at least have a vague outline along with protagonists names and characters of the 2 legendary works, Ramayana and Mahabharata.

A typical sunday morning scene featured gulping a glass of milk in front of the TV screen, while mom screamed "peeche baitho, aankhen kharab ho jaayegi"!

Grandma literally used to worship Lord Rama on TV when Ramayana used to be telecasted.

Lord Krishna seemed to be manifested in Nitish Bharadwaj ( the actor).

Mahabharata and Ramayana war scenes (arrows flying, thunderstorms etc) introduced the concept of graphics and VFX, albeit in nascent stage.

Alif Laila took us to exotic lands of djinns, chudails and treasure hunts.  Show me a single person who isn't fascinated with such stories!

Who can forget the multi coloured vertical lines before the start of any show or in case of "inconvenience is regretted"!

Such was the massive following and power of visuals.

Sacrosanct time for the entire family. Congregate on your assigned seats and watch TV. No fighting over remotes ( there weren't any!) or having a plethora of channels to choose from. Just one and only one, Doordarshan!

Tumhara naam kya hai, Basanti?

Few friends met up for a casual dinner.
One of them bought along his cousin, who had just shifted to the city.
Quickly the introductions took place. His epic reply  stunned everyone, eventually dissolving into peals of laughter!

" hello everyone, my name is avinash dutta. Mom and dad had named me after consulting my horoscope letter but they keep calling me beta or Sonu.

My friends call me avi. Teachers refer to me as dutta.  My girlfriend calls me by tons of name depending on her mood. I go from mera baby, jaanu, honey, jaan till kutte. Maid and society watchmen address me as bhaiyya. Kids call out to me as uncle.I sometimes feel am avu, simple and sweet.  Hence please feel to call me whatever you wish!"

His reply perfectly summarises what name means to various people in different contexts.

Our brain cells guide us in selecting a name for a newborn. Many algorithms, such as the name should have a good meaning, it's short form shouldn't change the intrinsic meaning, the letter as per the
horoscope/birth chart has to be used; determines it finally.

Indian parents love rhyming names for their children. Example : my name is anushree and my sister is addressed as tanushree! Talk about being lazy, rather than smart!

These are good for the official paperworks and Ids. Half of the time, you are called anything, but your real name!

Nick names are called by our family and friends, lovingly. They can either be short form of the real name or something very different!

Friends have a uncanny knack of bestowing the creepiest, funniest and whackiest of names.

Your character traits, your physical traits, social traits, sometimes no reason whatsoever etc help them to name you!

Example : My best buddies call me teddy bear, chudail and moti murgi!

Best ones are when little kids call you. Its like they have internal antennas to gauge you and your age.

Looking young and smart? then its Bhaiyya!
Having a bad day? its Uncle time!

Its creeped me out when after my wedding, i met few kids ( the following week of wedding mind you! ) i was instantly addressed as AUNTY!

did they see my ek chutki sindoor? I was remembering Ekta Kapoor & Hum Paanch serial. Aunty mat kaho na!!

Household staff, waiters, parlour staff, support personnel etc always address you as bhaiyya or didi! Some enthu cutlets over do it by adding ji to the bhaiyya and bhabhiji to his wife!

"Madam/Sir" -- Doesn't this give the feeling of sophistication? Thank your office staff and luxury hotel personnel for the sudden elevated feeling :)

Embarrassing names are reserved for your special someone.

Imagine, your spouse loudly yells, jaaaanuuuu where are you? in a busy mall.!

sniggers, here and there, i tell you!

yes!

Jaanu, honey, munchkins, cupcake, jaaneman, puppy, shona, mera baby, mera babu etc are common lover names.

Wait a minute, Awwwwww..... That is cho chweet! :)

Am sure, you have heard all of the above, sometime during your yatra of life! :)

Aarambh of Blogging ..

Once upon a time, an astrologer, who coupled up as a face reader,  visited us at home. She was warmly received by   my Matashri, who has a affinity towards consultations.

Only genuine and trust worthy people make it to my mother's list. This is a side view info :)

After the chai-paani nashta scenario, Matashri paraded me happily in front of her as the new guinea pig of experiments.

The lady took my right palm in her hands, turning it left- right and finally zooming on the criss-crossing fate lines.

She prophesied about my many hidden talents, hitherto undiscovered after snippets of what is in store for me.

I was guffawing to myself about the whole absurdity.

Let me tell you, this was my first brush with a soothsayer and my jawani ka josh was at its boiling peak, pursuing my graduation year.

Special advisory, apart from wearing a cat's eye stone, was to pen down anything everyday. A page of writing connected words.

Bemused, I nodded affirmation and thought of giving it a shot.

Mind you, this was merely to kill little time while humouring my matashri.

Circa 2008-09, armed with my Sony Vaio,  hostel's wifi connection and newly discovered word, " #blogging ".
Google informed me, it means writing personals journals or anything worthwhile on the World Wide Web.

Enabling its upcoming application, "Blogspot",I set sail on this journey. I didn't wish to write about my plan of the day!
So my enlisted crew members, my friends, hoisted lot of topics to write about, aboard. Again, world was round, so my duvidha came to square one. Kya likhu?

Vishesh tippani - when you study in a Co-Ed college, few harami type friends are bound cross your pathway.

One of the charlies suggested me to talk about what happens within a girl's hostel.

Curiosity always charms the cat before it kills it !!

Done done done...Juicy details of talking under blankets, the conditions of washrooms etc, wormed its way in my post.

The first post was so excitedly received that the feedback was given unabashedly over cups of chai and sutta.

Such a good feeling to get appreciated!

This was the start of my journey of #blogging

Over the years, topics became little varied.

Wrote about various kinds of Alcohols, to educate my girlfriends...
Typed about current mood swings, like why being fat makes people around you judgmental and so on.... That was purely rant blogging.

Wait a minute,  people still loved it.

Not bad, at all !!

Selection of Topics - Kya aur Kyu?

Someone asked me, why do you review movies on Facebook? Answer is simple : I love watching movies. If i can save someone's hard-earned money and time (metropolitan city crowd) by writing unbiasedly, why not?

For a change,  I wrote movie reviews on my blog. Statistics showed me great views scores. My faithful followers from Facebook indeed took the effort of checking my links!

Did i mention, I am a avid luxury spoilt traveller

Travelling all over India and the World has made me see different cultures and customs with more respect. It truly widens your horizons.

I aint your backpacker type of traveller, but a guilt free luxury seeking person, who loves good hotels and ambience!

Reading bug crawls all over my body.. I itch to read any romantic stuff and Indian fiction i can lay my hands on! So... it also gets featured on my blog!

My husband,Ranbir, has been a monumental encouraging force and has resurrected my writing. He feels my writing can help people with their travel plans, books and movie selection.

Best Sellers — Mythological Fiction!

Mythological stories provide the perfect fodder for imagination and curiosity. Tales of mythological beasts, mysteries, secret brotherhoods, religion, old manuscripts etc captures a reader’s/listener’s interest.
The latest trend in the Indian literature is mythological fiction. Authors research myths and facts to spin fictional stories around them.

The excitement of many clues leading to unlocking a well kept secret, definitely heightens the reading momentum and piquing the curiosity levels. Also, varied versions/point of view of a epic legend makes for a nice read.

Some of the Indian bestsellers which have well sketched characters and narratives are listed in this article. Pick this up at your nearest book seller or simply buy it online, without regret.

Palace of Illusions — Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni

Mahabharat is the epic saga of revenge and dynasty politics. It is one of the exhaustive tales to be written in the entire world.
The Pandavas and Kauravas are pitted against each other right from their childhood over their rightful inheritance of the throne of Hastinapur. Pandavas are led by Yudhistir, follower of dharma and Kauravas are led by Duryodhan, short tempered and egoistic.

The ultimate battle between the warring groups was the Kurukshetra war, fought for revenging the disrespect meted out to Panchaali, also known as Draupadi, wife of the Pandavas.

This battle tested their loyalties, cunningness, strengths, sportsmanship and strategic abilities..

However, this brilliantly written book shows us the entire saga with a different viewpoint. The protagonist is Draupadi, who shares her feelings and viewpoints right from the time she is born from the ceremonial fire, married off to 5 husbands, being the queen of Indraprastha till being manhandled and disrobed in the court of the hastinapur after being wagered in a bet.

Her vow of revenge sets the wheels in motion for a blood thirsty war. Also mentioned is her special friendship with Lord Krishna and her secret crush on Karna.

This is a good read since its Mahabharata retold with a twist.

 Chanakya’s Chant — Ashwin Sanghi

Chanakya was a kingmaker who is credited to have installed King Chandragupta on the Mauryan throne , written “Arthashastra” the political treatise, being a great orator and possessing a brilliant mind. His style of retribution from his foes made him a fearful adversary. He was at the pinnacle of power aided by his crafty and strategist mind.

This novel is a beautifully ode to the master. The storyline spans two era, separated by 2000 years. Older era narrates the story of Chanakya, from his humble beginnings till his ascent to power. Similarly, in the present time, Gangasagar mishra is a clever kingmaker who is determined to install a small town girl, Chandini in the Prime Minister’s role.

Delve into the world of political intrigue with this fast paced novel. Absolute Must read!

The Pregnant King — Devdutt Patnaik

Doesn't the title seem quirky? oxymoron-ic? unbelievable?

Author Devdutt Patnaik, a mythologist, revisits the epic Mahabharata and extracts a lost-in-the time story of King Yuvanasha.

Yuvanasha is the son of Shilavati, an ambitious woman, who is unable to rule the kingdom because she is a woman. Guided by her diktats, Yuvanasha is the puppet head.

The King is, as the title suggests, pregnant after drinking a magical potion which was meant for his wives! What made him gulp the potion? How did he deliver the baby boy? What were his associated feelings? will the kid call him dad or mom?

All these questions along with by-stories of interesting characters, make this novel a bestseller!

The Krishna Key —Ashwin Sanghi

It has been prophesied that in the kaliyuga -the dark age, a new avatar of God shall manifest on earth to purge it of all sins.

What if some psycho thought he was the aforementioned avatar and chose to unleash terror? Committing sins in the name of God?

A hidden prized possession of Lord Krishna, the enigmatic saviour of the masses is at stake!

A historian leads the path in finding out the real legacy and secret behind the Krishna key. A trail of evidences which helps to discover the hidden truth and put a stop to the serial killings.

Book your seat in a fast paced roller coaster ride from east to west, north to south of India.

The Mahabharata Secret — Christopher C Doyle

2300 years ago, Emperor Ashoka formed a secret brotherhood of 9 men, entrusted with the books of immense knowledge. After stumbling across a deadly secret, which had the potential to destroy the world, within the pages of the epic Mahabharata, it was decided to bury the secret in a such a way that it should be forgotten with the winds of time. However, time took a different course.
In present times, a cold blooded murder of an imminent scientist is discovered. His nephew receives cryptic e-mails and clues from him at the time of his death. He vows to solve the mystery and shoulder the responsibility entrusted to him, unaware of a powerful dark organisation who are also keen on the same.

Will he and his accomplices be able to unearth and safeguard the mystery? or will they just watch the world perish?

Find out more, when you read it.

Hope i have sowed the seeds of curiosity in you to read any one or all of the above..

Thank you for reading my post.

love,

Anu
